Aviation classes toured the Maverick Air Center! Students learned how the FBO works and the services offered, the aircrafts that are found, and how much different a medical aircraft is from a passenger aircraft. A huge thank you to Maverick for letting our students experience this!




Small Animal Science went to Mini Critters pet store to learn animal husbandry in retail. They made a few furry friends along the way!

Goodbye house! The house from last year's build got moved to its new property this week! Students were able to witness prepping the house to be moved and were able to send it off in CTE fashion!

Small Animal Science students were able to see “Annie” and “Story” in training for retrieving and scent tracking today at the CTE Academy. The two German Wirehaired Pointers are scent trained to find missing or injured human beings and wildlife. Story is owned by Chris Gross and Annie is owned by Dan Griffith. Chris, Dan and son, Phillip Griffith, demonstrated training techniques and the unspoken language between a person and their best friend! Learning about instinct, detection and tracking, our students were able to see two of the best at work and learn from three people that are willing to give of their time. Thank you Chris, Phillip and Dan!
